what can I expect?
LIVES TO BE CHANGED! Through contemporary worship led by our Soulfire Band, we will create an atmosphere to enter in and give HIM all of our PRAISE! Powerful messages relevant to the things going on in our student's lives and the culture of the fallen world we live in will teach them practical ways to follow Jesus! We want to see kids and adults have a real encounter with our Savior, not just an emotional experience or "camp high". Whether they are meeting Jesus for the first time, receiving fresh anointing, or maybe learning what their spiritual gifts are, we want a focus to be on sustained growth and life change. We want every single person leaving camp EQUIPPED with a GAME PLAN for what happens when they get home.

Daily Routines
We start each day with breakfast followed by "First Fruits" meant to be time spent alone with a devotional from their camp booklet, in the WORD, or other quiet time for reflection.
Rec Time will start right after lunch and will be led by our Soulfire Team! There will be scheduled games like 3 on 3 basketball, flag football, volleyball, and time to enjoy the zip lines, ropes courses, and lake inflatables!

Both morning and evening services will start with a PRE-PARTY! We want student's to feel like superstars every time they walk through the sanctuary doors! We kick off with a dance party, time to visit the Soul Shop, rec signup.
Worship will be followed by a message, then students will be dismissed to Soul Groups after both morning and evening sessions.

Soul Groups
Soul Groups are a VITAL and POWERFUL part of camp and build lasting relationships! They really are the heart and SOUL of camp! Our Soul Group volunteers are vetted through the youth pastors and our team. They receive orientation for what it means to be a leader and the expectations of Soul Group leads. We look for leaders that are living Godly lives, setting good examples, are able to relate to students, and willing to facilitate good conversations. Please contact our Soulfire Team if you or someone you know is interested in being a Soul Group leader.

Youth Pastors
We want you to COME EXPECTING and be preparing your students and your own hearts before you ever get to camp! We believe that being saturated in GOD'S WORD is crucial to being a good leader and even more so as you prepare for a big event! We encourage the church groups to meet together (this may mean some late nights, lol) to talk about how lives are being impacted through this camp experience.

Soul Kids
Campers age 3-11 can join us for Soul Kids during morning First Fruits. Parents can sign in kids where they will learn God's Word, have activities, worship, play time, and learn a dance routine to perform on closing night! *All kids under 3 should remain with a parent at all times.
Encounter Cove
Encounter Cove is owned by Encounter Ministries and is located on the Lake of the Ozarks just outside Camdenton, MO. They are Christian camp dedicated to making a way for both students and adults to encounter Jesus and all that He created. Encounter Cove includes 129 buildings on 360 acres with a variety of lodging and recreational activities. Many organizations use their facilities to host events and we are SO EXCITED to offer a camp experience close to home at a Christian facility that shares a love for Jesus and ministries!
